NEW PLACEMENT AND OUTPLACEMENT

Professional endings and new opportunities.

When someone leaves their role, voluntarily or involuntarily, there is often a need for support.
We offer two different
solutions depending on the situation.

New Placement – For those who are leaving a role and want to take the next step.

Outplacement
 – When you need to terminate an employee in a respectful and proper manner.

NEW PLACEMENT – support for you during a career transition

New Placement is for you who, for various reasons, are no longer in your previous role. This may be at your own request or following a decision by your employer. Our mission is to help you take the next step, with renewed energy, new contacts, and individually tailored support. We stay by your side until you have found a new role or reached the situation you are aiming for. The New Placement programme is tailored to your needs and your current life situation.

The programme may include, for example:

  • Individual coaching and guidance
  • A structured plan for job search and career transition
  • Leadership development
  • Practical support: CVs, applications and interview training

OUTPLACEMENT – FOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE TERMINATING AN EMPLOYMENT

Outplacement is aimed at employers facing the decision to terminate an employee. This may be due to redundancy, cultural misalignment, or performance issues. In these situations, we provide both employment law expertise and structured process support, enabling a sustainable, cost-effective, and respectful separation.

We can assist with:

  • Labor law expertise
  • Preparation of documentation for decisions and settlement agreements
  • Risk mitigation and avoidance of unnecessary costs
  • Solution-focused dialogue with the employee
  • Managing the process with clarity, respect, and legal certainty

Whether it concerns a manager or an employee, we ensure the termination is handled professionally, while giving the individual the opportunity to move forward in a constructive way.

What happens when you, as a CEO or senior leader, are suddenly forced to leave your position?

Have you gone from somebody to nobody? How does it affect you as a person, and what do you say to your colleagues when you leave the workplace for the last time?

Former CEO Jan Kluge openly shares his experiences.

“A New Placement programme helps you bring structure to your life. You have a place to go during the day and meet with the consultants at Management Partners. You receive coaching and get active support with your job search or the training needed to move forward and become more employable.

I received a great deal of support and guidance through the New Placement programme with Management Partners. It is something I would recommend to anyone in a senior leadership position who ends up in a situation like this.

Before it became critical for me, I hadn’t fully understood that Management Partners can support you all the way—from transitioning a leader in a change situation to helping them find a new path. I received help updating my CV, which I hadn’t touched in many years, and valuable advice when sending spontaneous applications to potential employers.

A New Placement programme is extremely valuable for senior leaders, because you are often quite alone at the top.”

"Change is a constant in working life, and sometimes you need to leave your job, which can be challenging in many different ways. For me, it was an immense reassurance when I came into contact with Management Partners and their New Placement program. The support and help I received from the entire team, and not least from my personal mentor, Björn Åkerman, were absolutely crucial in helping me find the right path and move forward to the next step in my career.

Management Partners truly stands by your side all the way, and I give them my warmest recommendations to all leaders facing a challenging situation."

"A New Placement programme is extremely valuable for leaders in senior management positions, because you are often quite alone at the top. I believe a New Placement program should be part of your employment contract."

"I joined Management Partners after a very challenging period at a company that had gone through major changes, during which several of us were made redundant despite many good years of service.

But that is sometimes the reality, and in that situation it is fantastic that companies like Management Partners exist, with such broad and solid expertise. Through the outplacement service I received, the honest and warm dialogue was invaluable. It enabled me to regain strength and energy and to bounce back toward new, greater challenges and assignments, very much thanks to this competent ‘breathing space’ that gave me the right tools."
